BRIEF DESCRIPTION of the sites:

Zhinvali Reservoir - hydroelectric dam on the Aragvi River in the Caucasus Mountains.

Ananuri Fortress - is a castle complex on the Aragvi River from 16th century.

Black & White Aragvi - two rivers meet with each other near the village Pasanauri and you can see clearly the difference in the colors. Some people compare it with yin and yang.

Gudauri - ski resort, the highest settlement on the Georgian Military Road.

Mineral Water - Natural mineral Spring in Gudauri, the rock on which the spring flows has a peculiar orange color that looks stunning in the pictures (in winter it is not visible, because of snow).

Stephantsminda - All eyes in this valley village face the hilltop 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church and its neighboring belltower, both of which enjoy glacier-capped 5047 meters Mount Kazbek as their backdrop.

Gergeti Trinity Church -  a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti in Georgia. The church is situated  at an elevation of 2170 meters, under Mount Kazbegi. It was built in the 14th century. The British Newspaper The Telegraph has published a list featuring the world’s most stunning churches. Among the 23 selected buildings Georgia’s Gergeti Trinity Church comes in the sixth place.

Bodbe Monastery - one of the most important religious sites in Georgia. A steep path leads 800m down to a small chapel built over St Nino’s Spring, which reputedly burst forth after she prayed on this spot. Pilgrims queue up to drink and splash themselves with the holy water.

Sighnaghi - City of Love - is high on a hill, with views of the Alazani Valley and the Georgian Caucasus.

Wine Tasting - wine degustation in wine factory.

Jvari Monastery - a sixth century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, with the eye-catching view on the city and Aragvi-Mtkvari meeting place.

Mtskheta - was founded  in the 5th century BC. It was capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD then capital moved to Tbilisi, but it stayed as the coronation and burial place for most kings of Georgia.

Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - a masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, it is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Christ’s robe is believed to lie beneath here.

Old Batumi - one of the oldest cities in Georgia, Batumi was founded in the 8th century. Old Batumi's most historical part is stretched between the seaport and the Boulevard, and features distinctive building facades and balconies.

Batumi Boulevard - 7 km seaside park. The coastal line of the boulevard has been beautified with bungalows, café-lounges, restaurants, children’s attractions, benches, sculptures and dancing fountains—making it one of the city’s most attractive tourist destinations.

Batumi Botanical Garden - boasting one of the widest varieties of flora in the world. The garden is 111 hectares and contains flora from nine phyto-geographic areas: East Asia, North America, New Zealand, South America, the Himalayas, Mexico, Australia, the Mediterranean, and the Caucasian humid subtropics.

Piazza Batumi - one of the most beautiful squares in Georgia. There are several hotels, cafés, and restaurants located on Piazza Batumi.

Cable car - 2 km of cable car link Batumi's waterfront with the Argo Entertainment Center development on Anuria Mountain, sitting at 250 meters above sea level. The complex offers spectacular views of the town, the Black Sea, and the surrounding mountains.

Tbilisi - crossroad of religions and culture, where Europe meets Asia. Capital and biggest city of Georgia.
